EMS Aviation enables reliable satellite-based airborne Internet connectivity and in-flight entertainment, messaging and tracking, rugged data storage and management, and data record and replay.
With nearly 500 employees, EMS Aviation is a market leading supplier of Iridium, Inmarsat and Ku-band and air-to-ground connectivity systems, including proven commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) technology. The division also offers built to suit products and technology for key avionics and airframe OEMS that are used in a variety of military and commercial applications.
EMS Aviation has manufacturing facilities in Canada and the U.S. with Quality Management Systems that comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 + AS9100B. The division’s air-borne communication systems also meet FAA, FCC, EASA and Transport Canada certification and operation requirements for a large number of aircraft.
EMS Aviation’s offerings cover a wide range of airborne connectivity equipment and services, from low bandwidth flight tracking data to high-bandwidth Internet and all manner of capability in between.
