Broadband Command 2007

Inmarsat CEO Andrew Sukawaty headlines Broadband Command 2007. To be held in London, UK this year, on March 1 and 2 the leaders in military Satcom will gather for a day and a half of networking, learning sessions and a special tour of the Inmarsat facilities.

Honeywell goes Broadband – eNfusion Broadband™
In October, Honeywell introduced its new MCS-7100 Series Multi-Channel Satellite Communications Family of Satcom products and under the hood of the terminals is EMS SATCOM eNfusion SwiftBroadband technology.

It’s a new year, and with it comes a variety of things (apart from new exercise and weight management regimens) including new business opportunities and excitement. Neil Mackay writes about the year past and gives a preview of the opportunities that lie ahead in 2007. We also have two guest writers in this edition, so you won’t want to miss Brendan Gallagher’s article on the new devices that we’ll be seeing in aircraft; and Jim King’s look at new developments in Search and Rescue. Ever heard of “crowd-sourcing”? Well that’s in here, along with our agreement with Honeywell, and our two ARINC 781 fuselage-mount antennas. Of course, our calendar of events for the next year is available for you to peruse. And speaking of events, Broadband Command is an EMS SATCOM event we’re hosting in London. It will bring together the leading experts in military Satcom integration—it’s sure to be an interesting and inspiring event. With the cold weather and snow finally arrived, you might want to consider Channels for your fireside reading. Stay warm.
