BRENDAN GALLAGHER is a freelance writer and editor specializing in aerospace and telecommunications. He edits the Inflight Online Daily Web news service for the IFE and passenger communications industries and Inmarsat’s Swift Express newsletter. As a contributor he writes for Via Inmarsat magazine and Jane’s Airport Review, and he reports for the Flight International daily newspapers published at the world’s leading air shows.
 
PETER KNAZKO is Inside Sales Manager at EMS STACOM with more than 15 years experience in technical sales and electronics design, spanning telecom, industrial, and military segments. He began his career as an engineer designing products for consumer and industrial manufacturers and brings to EMS a broad background in managing the promotion of technology solutions. He thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to contribute to EMS's culture of product excellence and customer service.
 
MAJOR MEGAN MCGRATH is an adventurer and Aerospace Engineer with the Canadian Armed Forces. She has been granted a one year Leave-With-Out-Pay from the Canadian Air Force to pursue her dream of a solo trek to the South Pole. Since 2002, Major McGrath has climbed many peaks throughout the world, in an attempt to climb the “Seven Summits” – the highest peak on each continent. At 0507hrs, on 21 May 2007, Major McGrath summitted Mount Everest, achieving her goal to climb the Seven Summits.
 
JEAN MENARD is Director of Commercial Sales at EMS SATCOM. An industry veteran, his background is in aircraft modification project management, and mechanical and aeronautical engineering. Menard was responsible for working with Transport Canada and the FAA to obtain TSO and STC approvals, and also worked as a contracts administrator for Raytheon and Bombardier Canadair aircraft completion projects. Prior to joining EMS SATCOM he was with MaxViz.
 
IAIN RONIS is Director of Communications at EMS Sky Connect. As one of the first three employees of EMS Sky Connect at its founding in 2003, Ronis has been involved with every facet of its growth. A jack of all trades for the company, Ronis has provided on-site installation support in various countries, answered international support calls 24/7, and presented seminars on airborne tracking. In addition to marketing and advertising responsibilities, Iain oversees the company’s IT resources and other corporate office matters. He is a private pilot (fixed-wing and helicopter), dabbles in photography, and enjoys chauffeuring his daughter to dance class five times a week.
 
PHIL ROSE is Managing Editor at Professional Pilot magazine. A full-time writer and editor, and part-time musician and photographer, he has lived in northern Virginia for the past 10 years.
 
ROB SEAMAN is an aviation consultant/writer and is regularly published in Canada, the United States and with leading general broadcast media. He is a recipient of the Canadian Business Aviation Association's (CBAA) Award of Merit and past Chair of their Ontario Chapter.
 
KIN SETO is VP of Business Development and Marketing at EMS Formation. Seto joined EMS Formation in 2008 and brings 25 years of experience in the fields of high technology and aerospace to his post. Most recently, he was director of avionics and customer products and services for Eclipse Aviation, a jet aircraft manufacturer. Previously he worked as director of marketing and communications for a wireless systems infrastructure and services company. Other experience includes executive-level positions with technology consulting companies as well as chief evangelist at Apple Computer and product manager at American Microsystems Inc. Seto holds a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University.
