Business Aviation Professional Brings Strong Industry Experience to Sales Role

TAKOMA PARK, Md. – Nov. 11, 2009 – EMS Sky Connect, a division of EMS Technologies, Inc., announced today that Cheryl Galloway, a long-time business aviation sales professional, has joined the division as senior account manager. In her new role, Galloway will focus on introducing and driving sales for the EMS division’s Forté products and solutions to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). The Forté product line provides a complete in-flight office capability with e-mail, voice, and text solutions.  EMS Sky Connect is a leader in Iridium satellite technology and services for helicopter, fixed-wing, ground-based and marine applications.

“Cheryl is a proven performer who has had a distinguished career in aviation,” said Wiley Loughran, EMS Sky Connect’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “Like so many of our team members, Cheryl is a pilot, which gives her important insight as she works to meet the needs of our ever-growing customer base.”

Galloway has held a range of senior sales positions, most recently at West Star Aviation/Premier Air Center. Her previous employers included Pentastar Aviation and Simuflite Training International. Galloway holds a bachelor’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is a licensed A&P mechanic.
