ISR aircraft link

ISR Aircraft Link

High-speed link for video transmission.
Loading...

An eNfusion Broadband® system provides a communication link onboard aircraft used for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR). The system provides enough bandwidth for streaming video from cameras and for command and control voice and data transmissions. It allows operations to overcome communications and line-of-sight obstacles.

The eNfusion antenna maintains a connection even when an aircraft rolls, changes altitudes and pitch frequently and flies far beyond the line of sight of air-to-ground links. Data is transmitted over L-band and the Inmarsat satellite network.

System Capabilities

  • Two (2) 10-Base-T Ethernet
  • One (1) ISDN BRI
  • Two (2) two-wire POTS
  • Two (2) Euro-ISDN BRI
  • Voice (4.0kbps AMBE™+2 codec)
  • ISDN (64kbps Data or 3.1khz Audio)
  • SwiftBroadband or Swift 64 Standard IP
  • Swift 64 Circuit switched ISDN (Voice or Data)
  • Interface to ARINC 741/781/429
  • Worldwide coverage

System Components

The typical installation on an ISR platform includes an eNfusion®AMT-3800 High-gain antenna (mounted on the fuselage top) an eNfusion® HSD-400 High-speed data terminal (a single 8 MCU unit installed outside the pressurized cabin) and a eNfusion® CNX-200 communication gateway. Alternate components may be used to add data acceleration, encryption and SwiftBroadband services. The capabilities described above may be upgraded using alternate components. Why This Configuration

Meet bandwidth needs right now
EMS Aviation systems are ready now (COTS) and so are Inmarsat satellite communication services. These systems meet security and aviation standards. Contact us to learn about systems already flying onboard several C2 and C4ISR airborne platforms.

Overcomes communication obstacles
The eNfusion® satellite antennas maintains a high-speed data connection during all phases of flight and in austere conditions, so you can send your aircraft to more places. Your aircraft can transmit and receive from areas beyond line of sight, in heavy weather, while flying low or landing and in ravines or mountainous terrains.
