EMS Aviation systems add a high-speed data link for streaming video from reconnaissance cameras and receiving real-time mission updates (voice or data) in-flight.
The added bandwidth allows C4ISR operators (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) to send their aircraft anywhere in the world and overcome many communication obstacles related to low altitude flight, heavy weather and mountainous terrain. Roll-on, roll-off variant systems are available for C-130 and C-17 family aircrafts.

Components and Upgrades
The basic EMS Aviation system is made up of a satellite antenna and a high-speed data terminal. These components are selected to provide the right connection for your operation (types of interfaces, amount of bandwidth, reliability, maneuverability and gain) using the lowest number of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and at the lowest installation, time and fuel expense. System capabilities, speed, interfaces and services (Inmarsat Swift 64, Inmarsat SwiftBroadband, or Iridium) can be scaled up using transceiver upgrades and cabin gateway networking products.
